The second part of the cooking marathon was making bread using the sourdough starter. It did not go as well as the ravioli. I tried this recipe on Serious Eats. While the taste of the crust was good the rest of it was terrible. It didn’t rise at all and was very dense. I think the time in the fridge ruined it. The texture was different after that. I will try another starter sometime.
I’m pretty sure it’s not supposed to look like this.
