Since I usually don’t have Easter plans, I do something special. This year instead of buying that $40 piece of prime rib I was eyeing at the farmers market, I decided to dye eggs. I attempted to marbleize them but it didn’t really work out too well.

The gradient color scheme was not done on purpose, but being the designer I am, I had to organize them that way.

In honor of having too many hard boiled eggs on hand, I’d like to share a great recipe for deviled eggs. My mom was looking for a deviled egg recipe and I pointed her in the direction of food52, one of my faves, and found this recipe for Lemon-Basil Deviled Eggs. A nice and fresh recipe for Spring.
