Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had as wonderful a holiday as I did. It has been a nice couple weeks off but it’s time to get back to veggies and cooking. What a way to start too. The weeks CSA brought 42 pounds of veggies! Of the 16 items we received, 11 were harvested from the fields or greenhouse. Farmer Fred said he has never harvested lettuce, and some other items, from the fields this late in the season ever. I never thought I would be eating salads in January.

5 lbs Sweet Potatoes
8 lbs Keuka Gold Potatoes
10 lbs Storage carrots
2 Stalks of Brussels Sprouts
2 Broccoli Crowns
1 piece of Diakon Radish
1 head Arrow Cabbage
1 bulb Kohlrabi
1 bunch Fresh Field Carrots
5 lbs Storage Beets
1 head of Napa Cabbage
1 bunch Fresh Kale
1 bunch Green Romaine
1 bunch Red Romaine Lettuce
1 bunch Green Oak Lettuce
1 head Green BostonĀ Lettuce

Winter CSA Week #3
