This week’s pickup was another winner. We are still receiving veggies from the field. We only have 2 more pickups left and it makes me wonder if it’s ever going to stop. This has been an amazing CSA season, and to think I hesitated about signing up again. Last winter it was a lot of potatoes and many weeks without lettuce. When you’re in the midst of root vegetable season, there’s nothing quite like a nice fresh salad.

This week’s share:
6 lbs Yukon Gold Potatoes
10 lbs Storage carrots
2 stalks of Brussels Sprouts
1 Diakon Radish
1 head Savoy Cabbage
1 bulb Kohlrabi
2 bunch Fresh Field Carrots
5 lbs Storage Beets
1 head of Napa Cabbage
1 head of Broccoli
1 bunch Red Romaine Lettuce
1 bunch Green Leaf Lettuce
1 head Red Boston

Winter CSA Week #4

These carrots are out of control. I’ve been cutting them up and keeping them in the fridge to snack on but I still haven’t really made a dent in the last batch.
